About Me
Who you'll be working with
I'm Saeid, a designer based in Liverpool. I work with small and new businesses — barbers, restaurants, salons, shops — where the owner is usually the person behind the till too.
That shapes how I work: prices are fixed and published, there are no long contracts, and the person you message is the person doing the work.
I speak English and Farsi, so if English isn't your first language, we can do all of it — the brief, the changes, the invoice — in Farsi.
I have a first-class degree in computer science and a degree in English translation, and I'm currently doing a PhD at Liverpool John Moores University. I've also taught English to adults for nearly ten years.
In practice that means two things. I'm as comfortable with the technical side of a website — how it's built, why it's slow, how it gets found on Google — as I am with how it looks. And I'm used to explaining things clearly to people who are still learning English, which turns out to be most of what good client work is.
